2. About CHEFI

CHEFI is a digital ecosystem that connects chefs, caterers, and clients. The platform allows professionals to showcase their work and clients to enjoy culinary experiences.

CHEFI acts only as a connector and does not employ or directly provide services.

3. Using the Platform

By creating an account, you agree to use CHEFI only for lawful purposes and follow all community guidelines.

All users must be 18 years or older.

4. Chef & Caterer Information Accuracy

Chefs and caterers must provide accurate information regarding their experience, qualifications, insurance, and certifications.

CHEFI does not verify documents but may remove accounts with misleading information.

5. Payments, Fees & Tips

Payments are processed via Stripe Connect.

CHEFI currently takes 0% commission (early access phase), but may introduce fees in the future.

  • Payments released after booking completion
  • Chefs are responsible for their own taxes
  • Tips go 100% to chefs (no commission)

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 72h before → full refund (minus Stripe fees)
  • 48–72h → 50% refund
  • < 48h → no refund
  • Chef cancels → full refund

CHEFI may suggest replacements but does not guarantee availability.

7. Communication & Conduct

Users must communicate respectfully and complete bookings within the platform.

Attempting to bypass the platform may result in account suspension.

8. Content Rights

Users retain ownership of their content but grant CHEFI a licence to display and promote it.

9. Privacy & Data

CHEFI processes personal data according to UK GDPR.

10. Limitation of Liability

CHEFI provides the platform in good faith but cannot guarantee all experiences.

CHEFI is not responsible for the actions or quality of services provided by users.

Liability is limited to the amount paid in platform fees within the last 12 months.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance of updates.
